Josh has swim lessons today, so I’d planned on not having the program. Then I woke up to it raining so I am barely moving and witha swollen throat too. But now the clouds have cleared so we’re going to head to the pool because I called and lessons are still happening.

I’m sorry, friends. This summer is going to a be a bit crazy. So check here for the schedule. And can you say a little prayer for me? I just want to go back to bed and yet my son is having these “cute moods” I need to appreciate and go with the flow regardless of how I feel.

He just saw a show about a birthday so we wrapped a gift and then preteneded it was his birthday and acted it all out between me grabbing a cu of coffee.

  1. Lisa, you can’t put kids on “pause.” Parenting and enjoying these moments with Josh should be top priority. Absolutely! Treasure them.
Even if you had to ask someone to drive you and Josh to swim lessons. However, ask yourself, “What is more important to Josh…….spending time with his precious mom or swim lessons?” I’m sure you know the answer. What will he remember as he grows older?
    A gentle hug
